About me…

Anna Marie Tobin (AMT) is an emerging director/writer/deviser with a background in music. They are a Directing and Film double major at Pace University—where they also completed their Honors Thesis “Cut-Sleeves” a written pilot and pitch deck for a television series. Credits at Pace include: How to Get Back to the Forest (Director/Deviser), The Apple Tree (Asst. Director), Small Mouth Sounds (Asst. Director), The Love Pill Trials (Deviser); as well as directed excerpts from The Juniors and People, Places & Things. At the Institute of the Arts Barcelona, they co-created The Book, or Dear Reader, which went on to win 4 awards at the New York Theatre Festival, including Best Director. This past summer they also directed their original play Imaginary Friends at The Chain Theatre’s One Act Festival.
